Educational Esthetics Courses

The Esthetics Course Curriculum is mandated by the State of Washington. The curriculum includes theory, anatomy, physiology, preparation, skill procedures, practices, products, materials, implements, skin analysis, client consultation, record keeping, and safety.

The training is intended to prepare the student for the State of Washington Board Examinations and entry-level employment in the Esthetics or a related profession.

  • Theory in the Practice of Esthetic Services
  • Skincare of the face, neck, and hands
  • Facials and Client Consultation
  • Chemical exfoliation (chemical peels)
  • Temporary removal of superfluous hair. Full body waxing
  • Equipment used in the school for hands-on learning: Micro Current, Microdermabrasion, L.E.D, Tesla High Frequency, Spray Tanning
  • Disinfection of individual work stations, individual equipment and tools, and proper use and storage of linens
  • Diseases and disorders of the skin, face, and hands
  • Safety, including proper use and storage of chemicals, implements, and electrical appliances
  • First aid as it relates to Esthetics
  • Practical Operations Requirement- No less than 100 practical operations are required for graduation.
  • 750 Clock Hours must be completed by the student
